Valentine's Day decorations, of course.

Late afternoon was not a good time to take a photo of the porch: everything is too contrast-y. Some of the winter decorations I replaced outright, like the wreath, and with others I just applied hearts. You can't see it, but both snowmen in both chairs are holding heart-shaped "balloons" (red hearts on wire stems).



The snowflakes and mittens are gone from the foyer for a while:



Here's a detail of the table—those bright hearts are from Hobby Lobby; I think they're candle holders—and the Valentine tree. It's actually a bottle-brush Christmas tree with the requisite hearts strung on with embroidery thread.

Since the kitchen/dining decor is cows and apples, the pink cow was definitely a keeper:

Oh, those kissing bears are sooooo cute!

I'm all red and white. (I HATE pink!) I have two garlands I bought last year from Family Dollar and Eckard's (the latter half-off in late February), a lacy heart box that held candy when I was a kid and was so pretty I kept it for holiday decor, a cute bear tin (the only pink among my decorations), a few paper hearts my mother drew for me in a valentine she sent me when I was in college, and cardboard hearts (some of them holographic!) hanging with the snowflakes in the windows and on the door and kitchen cabinet doors. A small vine heart wreath trimmed with rosettes is hanging on the front door. :)

BTW, I think I saw that same heart-shaped wreath on your front door at the small JoAnn's at Westmont next-door to Super Fresh, but it was too expensive for me at the time.

That sounds pretty, Emma! I don't like pink either, but I couldn't resist the cow. :-)

I'm absurdly proud of the fact that almost all of this outfit was bought at discount. 25% off, 40% off, 50% off all except for some of the smaller things. The two red hearts on the mirror, for example, and the little square hangings on the porch railings are all from A.C. Moore and were only $1 each.
